Hello! My name is Makayla Mallory and I am the Art Teacher at Woodmont Middle. This is my third year at Woodmont and I could not be more excited for what this year has in store.

I graduated with a degree in Art Education from Anderson University in the upstate, but originally am from Johnsonville, SC.

I am a BIG fan of traveling, having recently traveled to Kenya, Nicaragua, and Maine! In addition to that, I enjoy people, coffee shops, and a good watercolor painting.

​

I decided to become a teacher after having a middle school teacher impact my life in 7th grade and I truly​ find it a joy to have a small part in your students life. I look forward to our time exploring life and art this school year!
